- Create a new group:
- Go to the “Groups” window in the Admin section of the sidebar.
- Click the “Create new group” button.
- Enter the group’s name and description, then click “Submit.”
- Assign groups to a user:
- Navigate to the “Groups” tab.
- Search for the group using the search bar and add it.
- Add the desired users using the search bar.
- Assign horses to a group:
- Click on the “Add horse to a group” tab.
- Select the horses you want to add.
- Click the “Select groups” button.
- Choose the group of interest and click the “Add to groups” button.
- Create a new group:
- Go to the “Groups” window in the Admin section of the sidebar.
- Click the “Create new group” button.
- Enter the group’s name and description, then click “Submit.”
- Assign groups to a user:
- Navigate to the “Groups” tab.
- Search for the group using the search bar and add it.
- Add the desired users using the search bar.
- Assign horses to a group:
- Click on the “Add horse to a group” tab.
- Select the horses you want to add.
- Click the “Select groups” button.
- Choose the group of interest and click the “Add to groups” button.
- Create a new role:
- Go to the “Roles” window in the Admin section of the sidebar.
- Click the “Create new role” button.
- Enter a name for the role and click “Submit.”
- Assign policies to the role:
- Find the created role and click the blue glasses button.
- Add the necessary policies.
- Verify and assign roles to groups:
- Go to the “Users” window in the Admin section of the sidebar.
- Find your user and click the blue glasses button to open their information.
- In the “INFO” tab, you will see the groups your user belongs to.
- In the “ROLES” tab, you can view and edit your current roles and the groups associated with them.
- To edit a role and assign new groups, delete and re-add the role, selecting the new groups.
- Verify roles and groups in the application:
- Open the app.
- Go to user settings (click the burger menu in the top left corner).
- On the user settings screen, you can see the roles and groups you are assigned to and have access to.
- If everything is correct, you will see the use cases that roles and groups have access to in the burger menu.
